Carol Ball

Carol tells us:

I have been a member of Ramblers since 2004. Initially, this was to support the work of the charity whilst living in London. On moving to Wales in 2012, I began to walk with the group to meet new friends and explore the amazing countryside that is Meirionnydd. Having walked regularly on the South Downs, the Weald of Kent, the Chilterns and the Peak District, Meirionnydd was a complete eye opener. The quietness and remoteness found in the county is extraordinary and so many of the members of Meirionnydd Ramblers have great knowledge of the area. I now lead walks and have taken on the role of group treasurer in order to repay the group for all it has given me.
