The weather continued to be very un-spring-like throughout April, giving us more than our fair share of wind, rain and low temperatures. I can’t remember having such a consistently poor spring before. Despite this, six walks took place during the month, the seventh and final walk having to be postponed until early May because of rain and gales. We had walks in the north, south, east and west of Meirionnydd. Adrian took us on little known paths beneath the Moelwynion; we explored the “Three Peaks” of Senigl. Goedog and Gerddi with Carol; we had another adventure on Manod Mawr with Rosie; Rita led her Ardudwy Way (part 3) walk, postponed since last July; we walked into the hills above Llandrillo with Chris; finally Mike was lucky with the weather and managed to get to the top of Cadair Idris via the Pony Path.

Many thanks to this month's photographers. We’re always keen to have photos from our walks. If you have any to share with us, please email the programme secretary via the “Contact Us” page and we’ll let you know how to send them.
