On the whole, April turned out to be an excellent month for our group walks, though the ascent of Rhinog Fach had to be cancelled because of horrible weather. Our first walk of the month, to the top of Diffwys, was ably led by Carol, who stood in for Rita at the last minute. Unfortunately I don’t have any photos from that day. Carol led again a few days later, her own walk this time, in the hills between Llyn Dinas and Nanmor. Adrian’s unusual approach to Glasgwm was hard work on the way up, and in my view even harder work on the way down, but enjoyed by all participants. The group who accompanied Alun on the coastal path between Llanbedrog and Pwllheli had an easier time of it, in lovely sunny weather. By the time of Dave’s linear walk over the summit of Cadair Idris the weather had turned really hot, but the views were spectacular!
