We have photographs from four December walks; Rita’s Harlech Beach walk; Carol’s route into the hills from Farchynys; Adrian’s in the lower reaches of Cwm Cywarch; and Gill’s “mince pie and mulled wine” walk just before Christmas. Of these, Rita’s deserves special mention. The weather conditions were awful – stormy wind and rain – and a lot of people had sent their apologies in advance. Nevertheless, Rita went to the start, just in case, and was not at all surprised to find no-one had turned up. Undaunted, she did the walk on her own (a route close to her home and very familiar to her) and sent some photos to show the rest of us what we had missed.
