July turned out to be another good month for walking, with pretty good weather every time we were out. We started the month with Rita's gentle walk around the foot of Moel Goedog. Jacky had plenty of warm sunshine for her walk to the little ridge overlooking the two lakes of Y Gamallt and, after a misty start, John was similarly lucky walking through quarries above Blaenau Ffestiniog and visiting the top of Manod Mawr. Rita encountered mist on the top of Moelfre, but we were below the mist for most of her route from Talybont. Finally, the month finished in good form with Mike’s ever-popular route taking in Aberglaslyn, Beddgelert and Cwm Bychan.
