After seemingly months of wet and dismal weather, March was blessed with plenty of sunshine and some milder temperatures. This is reflected in this month’s gallery. We started with a walk in the Corris area with Gill, visiting the “Corris Binoculars” and the “Italian Garden”, both featured in the photos. Next, Rosie took us for a walk over the hillsides above Nant Gwynant, returning on the Llyn Dinas lakeside path. Liz took over at short notice to lead a small group along the Mawddach Trail. There were no photos taken on the walk so I have cheated and used some from the recce, in eqaually good conditions a couple of days earlier. For Jacky’s walk we ventured south of Machynlleth to reach a high point on Clipyn Du, with lovely views down to the valleys below. Our last walk of the month was part 2 of the Mawddach Way, a walk in the hills around the Mawddach Estuary between Taicynhaeaf and Penmaenpool - not to be confused with the low level Mawddach Trail.

Many thanks to this month's photographers. We’re always keen to have photos from our walks. If you have any to share with us, please email the programme secretary via the “Contact Us” page and we’ll let you know how to send them.
