Once again, I have to start by referring to the weather, which continued to be wet for much of March. This led to the last two walks of the month being cancelled, but four of our walks were able to take advantage of somewhat better conditions and here are photos from these.
Early in the month Liz took us on the ever-popular Volcano Walk in Coed y Brenin. The first of Rosie’s two walks this month explored the Gwydir Forest and Llanrwst area. Later, she took the group in a circuit around Blaenau Ffestiniog visiting Manod Lake and nearby quarries. Finally, on a very windy day with hail showers but plenty of sunshine, Mike led a walk near Llanfachreth in memory of our good friend Dave Rowley.

Many thanks to this month's photographers. We’re always keen to have photos from our walks. If you have any to share with us, please email the programme secretary via the “Contact Us” page and we’ll let you know how to send them.
