October was a mixed month weather wise, with one of the planned walks being postponed because of poor forecast and others taking part despite the weather! Luckily, Alun’s walk to Llyn Bodlyn was only postponed for a week so is still illustrated here. A few days earlier, Rosie’s “Tanybwlch stroll” took place in persistent rain. By contrast the afternoon walk from Llanelltyd on the day of the AGM was blessed with wonderful autumn sunshine. The rain was back again for Derek’s walk around Moel y Gest, but there was some lovely autumn sunshine too between the heavy downpours.
