Unfortunately, bad weather meant that we had to cancel two of our planned October walks, but that still left four to go ahead in reasonable conditions, though it was invariably wet underfoot. The first was a varied walk from Dolwyddelan to Ty Mawr Wybrnant led by Rosie. We only have one photo from the day so I’ve taken the liberty of including one of the house taken on another occasion. This was followed by Alun and Wynne taking us to Craig y Dinas hillfort. This is a little bit off the main track so not often visited. A good-sized group accompanied Adrian to the top of Tarrenhendre – the steep way! Finally we were blessed with wonderful autumn sunshine for our AGM walk with Liz from Llanelltyd to the Glasdir Copper Mines.
